Simona Ferrari, Milanese, since she was a child she showed a special and particularly outstanding gift for singing, surprising her relatives with her easily way to sing musical pieces heard from her mother, a music lover.

At the age of eight Simona Ferrari starts that double path of growth which will determine her future. On one side she starts learning the art of ballet, on the other goes ahead practicing her passion for music, which leads her to be member of the choir of her town.

Time goes by, and the dance study improves her expressive skills, driving her to attend the most prestigious Musical’s School of Milan, where she trained and professionally improved either the dancing and the singing dimension.

This experience increased her inborn singing and stage presence skills, leading Mrs. Ferrari to be engaged as singer, dancer and actress in the Musical “Cats” by E. L. Webber.
She dedicates herself to this job for several years all over Europe ( Hamburg, Basel, Geneva, Paris, Vienna, Zurich), further helping her artistic growing.

Appreciated for her incredible vocal talents, Mrs. Ferrari, was guided towards the study of opera which she studied in more detail, first with the maestro Armando Appiani, then followed with the maestro Claudio Vandelli, with the maestro Roberto Negri, with the maestro Sig.ra Franca Mattiucci and currently with the maestro Angelo Bertacchi.

In these years she performed as solo-artist in different cities as Zurich (1995),Frankfurt (1997) and Milan (1998), she is finalist at the III International Singing Competitions “Sanremo classic” (1997), she attended the Mastercalss of the soprano Mrs. Leyla Gencer (2000), at the music specialization Academy “Villa Pomini” with the maestro tenor Giorgio Tieppo.

During these last years she has appeared in a number of concerts in Piacenza, Parma, Bologna, Imperia, Milan, Genova, Messina and also together with the tenor Pietro Ballo and the tenor Cristiano Cremonini (2000-2002). Recently she performed in concert in New York (2003).

Simona Ferrari has recorded three CDs of operatic repertoire and one of Napolitano songs.
